Drywall/Acoustical Ceiling Project Manager

We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US. • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion 

• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations 

• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. 

• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors 

• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory 

• Orders and schedules delivery of materials 

• Meet contractual conditions of performance 

• Review the work progress on daily basis 

• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status 

• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues. 

• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses 

• Meet with contractors/subcontractors to ensure effective communication throughout the entire project. 

• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks 

• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques 

Education and/or Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or equivalent work experience (preferred) 

• High school diploma or equivalent (required) 

• Estimating experience (required) 

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus  

• Minimum of 3+ years working in a project management role within the drywall/acoustical trade. (required)
