Job Description - DSD Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

Product Delivery: Efficiently deliver Sweetheart Ice Cream products to customers along the assigned route.

Merchandising and Display: Arrange, display, and rotate products according to company standards. This ensures that products are well-presented and properly stocked on shelves and in coolers.

Product Rotation: Maintain appropriate rotation standards for products to ensure freshness and quality.

Company Property Handling: Pick up company property and returns as needed during deliveries.

Loading and Lifting: Safely move, lift, and load products and company property, adhering to safety protocols.

Invoicing and Collection: Invoice customers and collect amounts due, settling accounts on a daily basis.

Regulatory and Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with both regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with store management and personnel.

Qualifications:

Driving Experience: 3 year of verifiable US drivers license. Experience in product delivery and customer service is desirable.

Merchandising Experience: Experience in merchandising is a plus, indicating familiarity with arranging and displaying products effectively.

Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate should be a team player who is energetic, enjoys working with others, is positive, confident, well-organized, and prepared to learn and grow.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and maintaining positive relationships.

Customer Service Orientation: A customer service-oriented approach is crucial for delivering exceptional service and representing the company's image positively.
