You will join a multi-disciplinary R&D team of electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists building custom digital signal processing solutions and communications systems in direct support of national security defense. In this role, you will lead small project teams through the full lifecycle — from concept and design through deployment and maintenance — of software-based solutions for modern communications systems. You will interact directly with end users and customers, ensuring your work delivers real operational impact.

Lead and mentor small project teams that conceive, analyze, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software-based communications systems

What We're Looking For
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or equivalent discipline
Demonstrated capability in scientific programming with C, C++, or similar high-level language on UNIX/Linux
Strong background in digital signal processing or communications theory
Experience with CUDA, ICE Cards, and Mod/Demod
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance — US Citizenship Required
Preferred:
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or equivalent discipline
5+ years of experience in practical system development, deployment, and leading others
X-Midas or MATLAB experience
Applicable Technical Background:
Satellite and cellular communications systems
Modern modulation schemes
Interference canceling and equalization
Cyclostationary techniques
Signal conditioning and resampling
