Job Description - DSP Midnight Onsite-On-Call Sleep Position

Midnight Onsite On Call

Direct Support Specialist are allowed to sleep during their shift as long as they attend to the individual's needs anytime they require attention throughout the night.

Must complete any light duties upon arrival prior to the sleep shift

Must be completely aware of the surroundings and capable of assisting to provide a safe environment

Must assist individual in the morning with getting up on time an providing direct care, meals and medical monitoring.

Assisting with household duties

Advocating for the individual and communicating their needs, goals, and self-expression

Complete documentation prior to leaving shift
