Now Hiring: Experienced Tag and Title Clerk – Automotive Dealership

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Tag and Title Clerk to join our team at Regal Nissan & Regal INEOS Grenadier. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in processing automotive titles and registrations in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process tag and title documents for new and used vehicles sold
• Submit and follow up on vehicle registrations, title transfers, and payoffs
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Stay up-to-date with DMV regulations and dealership compliance requirements
• Handle customer and lender inquiries regarding titles and registration
• Work closely with the sales and finance departments to ensure timely processing
• Process Wholesales and Dealer Trades

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a tag/title clerk in an automotive dealership
• Knowledge of DMV rules and state title regulations
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus (Tekion preferred)
• Experience with DLRdmv & DLR50 a plus
• Can pass a pre-employment screening
