Dump truck Dispatcher- MUST HAVE DISPATCH EXPERIENCE

Strittmatter Companies is a Northern Virginia-based excavation, demolition, and trucking organization that has a current opening for a Dispatch Administrative Assistant at their office located in Manassas Park, VA. This role works in a team environment and requires a blend of reasoning and problem-solving skills with general office and customer service intuition. Dependability and a good work ethic are a must. Additionally, a good attitude is crucial for the position. Use of common office software packages will be required to successfully integrate at this position. Our days are generally fast paced and very active so candidates will need to possess a high energy level and embrace change and growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and efficient dump/load outs.


• Utilize transportation management systems and excel to track drivers and optimize routes.


• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers, providing updates and resolving issues.


• Maintain accurate records of dumping's, data entry, and documentation.


• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple phone lines.


• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
