Dump Truck Driver

Description

 River Road Ready Mix Concrete Company is seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting raw materials, such as sand, gravel, and concrete, to our plants from pick up locations in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from construction sites. 

• Follow delivery schedules and ensure on-time delivery. 

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in good operating condition. 

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, materials transported, and vehicle maintenance. 

• Comply with all safety and traffic regulations at all times. 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members. 

• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B. 

• Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations. 

• Previous experience operating dump trucks or similar vehicles is required. 

• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks. 

• Knowledge of local routes and ability to use GPS for navigation. 

• Strong attention to safety and detail. 

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
