Job Description - Dynamics 365 Admin
Essential Duties:
System Administration
· Configure and customize D365 applications to meet business requirements.
· Manage user accounts, security roles, and permissions within the D365 environment – including provisioning.
· Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
· Assist with deployments across environments.
· Coordinate & Perform data refreshes.
· Monitor system health and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
· Assist with maintaining & fixing workflows.
· Write and maintain documentation for customizations, configurations, and workflows.
· Help Develop Robust QA & Regression Testing suites.
User Support & Training
· Provide technical support to D365 users, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
· Develop and deliver training materials (as needed) and sessions to educate users on D365 functionality and best practices – especially new features in upgrades.
· Act as a point of contact for user inquiries and escalations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Data Management
· Oversee data integrations, assist with integration error monitoring (i.e. bad mapping/bad data), and fix.
· Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality controls and validation rules.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies and procedures.
· Perform data loads as needed.
Continuous Improvement
· Stay informed about new features, updates, and best practices related to D365.
· Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and enhance the D365 environment to better support business processes and objectives.
· Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting or related field.
· Proven experience as a system administrator or similar role, with specific experience administering D365.
· In-depth knowledge of D365 Finance and Operations
· Knowledge in Dynamics CRM (CE) is a plus
· Strong understanding of database management principles and SQL Server.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Certificates/Licenses:
· Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or related technologies (e.g., MCSA: Microsoft Dynamics 365, MCSE: Business Applications) are a plus.

· In-depth understanding of accounting systems, business processes, industry standards & internal controls
· Strong organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be able to distill complex concepts and communicate effectively to both executive sponsors and end users, and technical and non-technical team members and customers.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform
· Proficiency with Excel and data analytics in general.
