You will support our E-6B PMI Program.\n\nThe Navy E-6 is an airborne command post and communications relay based on the Boeing 707 platform The aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. This platform, now modified to the E-6B standard, conveys instructions from the National Command Authority to fleet ballistic missile submarines, a mission known as TACAMO (\"Take Charge And Move Out\").\n\nJob Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\n * Management responsibility for a team of direct reports.\n\n * Working with the team and cross functional organizations to ensure conformance to all quality related customer contract requirements.\n\n * Working with the team assure quality products, services, and solutions throughout each program\u2019s life cycle.\n\n * Ensuring compliance to Quality Management System (QMS) business policies and processes.\n\n * Work cross functionally to identify and facilitate initiatives for business, operational, technical, and administrative process improvements.\n\n * Driving Continuous Improvement activities within the organization.\n\n * Actively drive program planning and schedule reviews to verify all key risks have been identified and satisfactorily mitigated.\n\n * Develop and improve process metrics to drive improvement in the organization\n\n * Deliver quality-related data / presentations to leadership.\n\n * Review Corrective Actions for acceptance or closure as part of the corrective action review board.\n\n * Develops and/or approves Basis of Estimates (BOE) for program or product Quality Engineering plan/activities/tasks.\n\n * Participate in program technical reviews (SRR, SFR, PDR, TRR, CDR, IDR, etc. (as applicable.) along with participation in reviewing and approving associated technical documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.).\n\n * Coordinate with the Supplier Quality and Mission Assurance functions to enhance cross specialty harmonization of activities and initiatives.\n\n\n\n\nNGSkills\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n * A High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 9 yrs of relevant experience in Quality Assurance; A Bachelor\u2019s Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; or masters degree plus 3 years of relevant experience may also be considered.\n\n * Experience working in a highly regulated industry (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.).\n\n * Experience working with regulated industry Certified Quality Management System requirements.\n\n * Understanding and application of statistical methods and data analytics.\n\n * Strong written and verbal communication and formal presentation skills.\n\n * US Citizenship.\n\n * Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance if required.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience managing teams within one or more of the following areas: Quality Engineering, Mission Assurance, Manufacturing or Equivalent.\n\n * ASQ Certifications such as CQM/OE, CQE, etc. \n\n * Lean / Six Sigma Master or Black-Belt Certified.\n\n * AS9100 experience.\n\n * A\u0026P License.\n\n * E-6B experience.\n\n * A current Secret DoD clearance.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $104,500.00 - $156,700.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
