Join the dynamic team at The Goddard School® in Fishers as our Director! We are seeking a passionate, proactive, and inspiring leader to oversee daily school operations while fostering a nurturing, high-quality learning environment for children, staff, and families.

This is your opportunity to lead a dedicated team, implement innovative curriculum, ensure compliance with all licensing and brand standards, and make a meaningful impact on early childhood education in our community.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Administration

Oversee the daily operations of the school

Ensure compliance with state licensing and Goddard brand standards

Develop and implement policies and procedures that uphold our mission

Staff Management

Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise faculty and staff

Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development

Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

Curriculum & Program Oversight

Implement and support a high-quality, play-based curriculum

Collaborate with teachers to create engaging, individualized lesson plans

Ensure all children’s developmental needs are met

Family & Community Engagement

Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with families

Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress

Represent the school in community outreach and engagement efforts

Financial & Operational Management

Manage budgets, tuition, and financial reporting

Oversee enrollment and resource allocation

Maintain accurate records and ensure operational efficiency

Health & Safety

Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment

Conduct regular safety drills and uphold emergency procedures

Maintain facility standards in line with licensing and brand guidelines

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to build and lead a successful team

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Passionate about children’s development and well-being

Previous director or administrative experience in a licensed childcare center preferred
