What You’ll Do
As the Early Childhood Lead Teacher, you’ll lead
classroom activities and foster a fun, structured, and nurturing environment
where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging,
age -appropriate classroom activities
- Create a safe, healthy, and
stimulating learning environment
- Supervise children closely and
respond to their individual needs
- Encourage creativity, exploration,
social development, and hands -on learning
- Prepare classroom materials and
learning spaces each day
- Partner with families to support
each child’s development and success
- Collaborate with Assistant Teachers
and fellow staff members
- Support and mentor classroom staff
through guidance and training
- Participate in ongoing training and
professional development opportunities
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who is compassionate,
dependable, energetic, and committed to helping children learn and grow.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in
a licensed early childhood program
- Completion of 32 hours of Early
Childhood Program (ECP) training or Level 2 on the ECP Registry
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to maintain professionalism
and build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Certifications & Requirements
The following certifications and training are
required (or must be completed within designated timeframes after hire):
- American Heart Association
Heartsaver CPR & Pediatric First Aid (within 30 days of hire and kept
current after)
- Must maintain current standing with
the Montana Early Childhood Project Practitioner Registry (within 15 days
of hire)
- Infant Safety Essentials training
(within 30 days of hire)
- Health & Safety Professional
Development training (within 90 days of hire)
- Completion of mandatory 16 -hour annual
training requirements
- Maintain current company and
state -required immunizations
