Job Description - Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

About The Role:

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our extraordinary therapy services team. We are searching for applicants with a considerable passion and focus for Early Childhood and/or Birth-to-Kindergarten student caseloads because this role will focus on serving students that are three, four, and five years old.

 

Location: Carroll County, MD

City: Taneytown, MD

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $57,230 - $74,910 (based on qualifications and experience).

Becoming an AnthroMed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):

As an AnthroMed SLP in Carroll County, you will be the difference-maker who:

  • Assesses students' speech-language abilities and crafts tailored treatment plans.
  • Delivers top-notch direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs.
  • Excels in assessments, interprets results, and crafts insightful reports that pinpoint strengths and areas of improvement in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Stays at the forefront of your field, leveraging professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuous education to shape your practice.
  • Cultivates an engaging learning environment by implementing efficient process management strategies.
  • Thrives in collaborative IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Collaborates with instructional staff to devise strength-based, child and family-centered treatment plans that foster overall educational advancement.
  • Ensures that evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery strictly adhere to school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Guides and supports teachers in identifying and addressing speech and language delays/disorders.
  • Embraces additional responsibilities that contribute to our collective mission.
 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings, preferably with children ages 3-5.
  • A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • A valid Maryland SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. Inquire about our clinical fellowship program and past success ensuring all Clinical Fellows received their CCC-SLP.
