Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) Children’s Center seeks a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant, year-round program. Our teachers value each child and family as individuals, fostering creativity, curiosity, and Jewish identity through play, exploration, and strong relationships.

About the Role
As a teacher at TBS, you will:

• Create a welcoming, nurturing classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Plan, implement, and adapt curriculum based on children’s needs and interests.
• Partner with families to share insights and support learning at home and school.
• Collaborate with your teaching team to deliver high-quality education that reflects our school’s values.
• Ensure a safe and caring environment while guiding substitutes and classroom volunteers.

• Finds joy in teaching young children and values learning through play.
• Understands early childhood development and uses that knowledge to support each child.
• Communicates effectively with families and colleagues.
• Is flexible, collaborative, and committed to ongoing learning and reflection.
• Prioritizes health, safety, and emotional well-being in the classroom.

• Monday–Friday, year-round
• Teaching hours: 10:15 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
• Paid time included for planning, family communication, and classroom preparation.

• Base Salary: $51,500 (Classroom Teacher) / $49,500 (Whole School Teacher)
• Additional Pay:
  • BA Degree: +$2,000
  • BA in Education: +$1,000
  • MA in Education: +$1,000
  • EEC Lead Teacher Certification: +$1,000
  • Prior Experience: +$500 per year (up to 7 years)
