JOB STATUS: Full time (40 hours/week), 12 months per year, Non-Union position
Location: Willmar, MN
Are you passionate about helping families access quality child care and early education? We’re looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Early Learning Scholarship Administrator to support life-changing opportunities for children and families across our community.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: events, listening sessions, and peer learning opportunities for families and providers.
• Build Awareness & Connect: Lead community outreach by engaging with families, early childhood programs, and local partners.
• Drive Enrollment: Guide families through scholarship recruitment and enrollment with encouragement and empathy.
• Support Families & Providers: Offer hands-on help with applications, renewals, and attendance tracking.
• Manage Records: Keep accurate documentation and report data using state systems to support program goals.
• Live Our Values: Embody UCAP’s mission through collaboration, continuous learning, and a commitment to those we serve.
SKILLS TO WOW US:
Fluent in both English and Spanish, spoken and written - like a language superhero.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that build trust and connection.
• Solid understanding of family dynamics, child development, and cultural and economic diversity.
• Experienced in teaching parenting skills, guiding problem-solving, and resolving conflicts with confidence.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Two years of post-secondary education in human services and one year of relevant experience OR
• A total of three years combined education and experience
