EchoSonographer

Avant Tech is currently seeking a talented and experienced EchoSonographer to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting echocardiograms to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions. Your expertise will be critical in providing high-quality imaging services to assist physicians in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiographic examinations including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Gather and evaluate patient medical histories and physical assessments prior to tests.
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of echocardiography equipment.
• Document and analyze results, providing timely reports to physicians.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures and explain sonographic techniques.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical professionals to discuss findings and treatment plans.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations to protect patients and staff.

• Qualifications:
• Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 year of experience as an EchoSonographer.
• Strong knowledge of echocardiographic anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with pediatric echo studies.
• Knowledge of advanced echocardiographic techniques, such as 3D imaging.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
