Job Description - eCommerce Customer Service Specialist




Bakell LLC, a JDI Distribution brand, is a fast-growing CPG company known for innovative food and baking products. We operate in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment and are looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced setting.


About the Role


We’re looking for a Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist who will serve as a key point of contact for our customers while supporting our internal sales team. This role blends customer service, problem-solving, and sales support.

Responsibilities​



  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and CRM systems

  • Resolve customer issues and handle escalations professionally

  • Support sales team with order coordination and account management

  • Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate

  • Manage customer communication through Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk

  • Assist with outbound outreach and lead generation

  • Research and compile prospect lists

  • Build strong customer relationships and improve retention

  • Work with operations, warehouse, and accounting teams to resolve issues

  • Assist with reporting and tracking customer/sales activity



Requirements




  • 2+ years of customer service or sales support experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills

  • Experience with CRM systems (Zoho preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
