Ecommerce Merchandiser

The Black Diamond Ecommerce Merchandiser is a key player in the running of Black Diamonds direct to consumer business. This position reports to the Director of Ecommerce and the duties include building new SKUs in Black Diamonds Product Information Management system and maintaining/correcting the information. Other tasks of the position include merchandising the site seasonally and curating relevant product for promotions. The Ecommerce Merchandiser works closely with the Marketing department to deploy product, promotional and experience campaigns.

Essential Functions:

• Execute onsite merchandising plans and help choose relevant products for promotions/campaigns.
• Coordinate with the Website Content Manager and Digital Marketing Specialists to execute campaigns
• Own Product Lifecycle on the website from Launch to DM. 
• Create, Optimize and Merchandise the website collection pages to match the season and report on effectiveness
• Work in Shopify and Catsy and other platforms.
• Input information into the PIM for site product updates.
• Execute the seasonal web flip.
• Ensure product specification accuracy on the website by coordinating with the product team.
• Work with the Director of Ecommerce to improve onsite search. 
• Help Improve all aspects of the user experience.
• Create, Update and Improve site filters
• Update SKU Pricing when needed. 
• Fix images on the site and request photo corrections from Marketing as necessary. 
• Coordinate directly with the CS team to improve customer experience.
• Work with the Director of Ecommerce and IT team to test site improvements. 
• Load new product instructions and documents of conformity for BD products.
• Work with the EU team members on merchandising updates. 
• Be responsible for populating and improving PDP pages.

Education:

• Required: Associate's Degree.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.

Work Experience:

• Required: 3 years Ecommerce experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years of Direct-to-Consumer Ecommerce experience.

Skills and general experience:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms, Shopify experience preferred. 
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with Search platforms and Product Information systems
• Comfortable with working with technology and technical teams.
• Understanding of web analytics and reporting systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, analytical skills, and detail-oriented.
• Required Licenses: Driver's License
