E-Commerce Specialist

As the Ecommerce Product Specialist you will own the roll-out and the new products published online, be responsible for customer facing content, ensuring quality and accuracy of the products. 

Essential Functions/Duties:  

• Communicate with vendors and buyers to retrieve product info: Descriptions, Images, Specs, etc. for use on our website.  
• Help manage vendor e-commerce policies/verify pricing info to be sure we are within contractual MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) parameters.
• Download and resize photos (as needed) for E-Commerce use.
• Run & analyze reports to get product listings in categories/vendors for use in loading products up online.
• Use simple HTML (tables, bullet points, fractions) to give our descriptions a nice, consistent 'look'.
• Make sure our information is consistent and accurate on items shown online.
• Write up simple & accurate product descriptions based on the information provided from vendors/buyers.
• Responsible for description and layout of products to be published on the website. 
• Create and maintain a minimum of 1000 styles monthly. 
• Other duties as assigned pertaining to office administrative duties to support Ecommerce team. 

Required Experience: Proven 2+ year history in performing administrative tasks. Must be detail oriented, analytical, self-motivated, organized and enjoy problem solving. Highly prefer candidates with MMS, Google Sheets, Trello, Simple HTML and Windows Paint 3D.   

Required Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred. Office administrative certifications and experience is highly preferred. 

Additional Information: Our goal is to fill this position with an individual that has an eye for detail and enjoys data entry work. Organizing and publishing product data online requires repetitive and systematic methods in order to provide a consistent look and feel for online shoppers.
