Job Description - eCommerce Team Lead

The role of an eCommerce Lead is dynamic and requires a combination of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and marketing skills to drive online sales and maintain a competitive edge in the digital marketplace. They play a crucial role in the success of an eCommerce business by optimizing its online presence, customer experience, and overall performance.



Responsibilities



  • Overseeing the product catalog, including product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing. This may involve adding new products, removing outdated ones, and ensuring accurate and consistent product information.

  • Managing the eCommerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, enhanced, up-to-date, and optimized for both desktop and mobile users.

  • Overseeing and managing the operations and strategies related to an eCommerce business. The primary role is to drive the growth and success of the online retail platform.

  • Assisting management in leading a motivated, engaged and enabled store team to obtain results through teamwork.

  • Executing promotional campaigns and discounts to attract and retain customers.

  • Analyzing eCommerce performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rates, and revenue, and using this data to make data-driven decisions and improvements.

  • Collaborating with marketing teams to improve the visibility of the eCommerce site in search engines (SEO) and implementing online advertising and marketing strategies.

  • Staying updated with eCommerce technologies and trends, coordinating the integration of new features and tools to enhance the online shopping experience.

 



Required Skills



  • Experience gained in a modern webstore-based environment with an understanding of customer expectations.

  • Experience in use and operation of ERP environments and other related systems.

  • IT proficient and skilled in the use of Microsoft office products.

  • Strong interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Ability to influence others at all levels in the organization.

  • Results orientated with a proven record of achievement.

  • A positive, can-do, resilient and flexible attitude.

  • Proven attention to detail.

  • The ability to deliver with high standards and tight deadlines






Compensation: $26.00 per hour
