EDDA-Dental Assistant

Kip Modern Dental is a family dental practice located in Littleton, CO that is seeking an EDDA-Dental Assistant to join our team full time. This is a Monday-Thursday position which gives you long weekends and a sustainable work-life balance. Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm (arrive 7:45am)  

Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting Dentist chairside throughout procedures by providing the best clinical and non-clinical experience to each patient
• Reviewing patient health history
• Daily set up and organization of instruments needed for procedures throughout the day
• Capturing diagnostic X-Rays
• Taking impressions (traditional and digital)
• Making temporary crowns
• Organization and sterilization of the operatories
• Assisting with lab tasks and procedures
• Sterilization of all dental and medical instruments
• Using Denticon to update patient records
• Scheduling patient appointments

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a DA
• EDDA experience
• Xray and EDDA Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong patient service skills
• Knowledge Denticon software is preferred but not required
• Attention to detail
• Ability to be coached and given direction, and work well in a team environment
