EDDA-Dental Assistant

Fountain Dental Center is an established dental practice located south of Colorado Springs and has been serving the community for over 20 years. We are growing and seeking an experienced EDDA-Dental Assistant to join our team-oriented and patient-centric practice full time. At Fountain Dental Center, our team members are an essential resource to fulfill our vision to be the patient experience leader. We work with a great team and have a bright and open office with windows in every operatory!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctors chairside
• Capture diagnostic x-rays
• Fabricate temporary crowns, place fillings, and capture digital impressions
• Assist endodontic treatments
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Restock treatment areas and maintain inventory
• Prepare treatment plans and update patient charts in Denticon
• Set up and breakdown operatories
• Schedule patients for treatment
• Maintain OSHA standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of EDDA experience is preferred
• EDDA certification
• X-ray certification
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
• Denticon experience is a plus but is not required
