POSITION PURPOSE:

Prepares alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standards and all applicable federal laws and regulations. Provides superior guest service and maintains the Edge Bar Casino floor bar environment in a manner that will ensure repeat business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Greets guest and takes and fills orders directly from the guest at the bar.
• Provides Cocktail suggestions and offers suggestion of craft cocktails
• Prepares alcoholic beverage orders for the Beverage Servers for guests on the gaming floor.
• Maintains the supplies and equipment needed for the daily operation of the bar. Replenishes cocktail napkins and arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Takes payment at the cash register and is responsible for proper cash handling, reconciliation, and accounting for the house bank.
• Ensures compliance with OLCC regulations.
• Resolves customer concerns and complaints and listens to guest suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior service to Resort guest.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of experience bartending in a similar environment required.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
• Able to follow verbal instructions.
• Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required.
• Current OLCC License required.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available).
