EDI Mainframe Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (REMOTE) Duration: 12 Months PlusRate: DOEUS Citizens and Green cards are Preferred.
EDI Mainframe Developer with the following skill set:- COBOL + DB2 development experience is preferred. Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, SCLM.
- EDI knowledge is a must
- Should be able to write queries to interact with DB2.
- Execute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration.
- Should have knowledge on promoting code to production using any of the tools, good to have SCLM and IN-SYNCH.
- Manages all aspects of implementation planning & coordination
- Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
- Experience in fixing job abends and working on minor enhancements.
- Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement the minor enhancements.
- Should be willing to learn new technologies and collaborate with the team.
- Hands on experience on IBM Sterling Integrator version 5.2.6 preferred
- Knowledge and experience in developing, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring of EDI IBM Sterling integrator preferred
- Good Knowledge and hands on experience in business process development preferred
- Extensive exposure on map development (X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, Flat files) preferred
- Good experience with various file formats like ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, cXML, CSV, Flat files preferred
- Proficiency in DB2+SQL, XML, XSLT, Web services, APIs, FTP/SFTP, Java and JavaScript preferred
