EDI Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Specialist to join our team. The EDI Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of electronic data interchange processes to facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between our organization and our partners.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement EDI solutions to support business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Configure and maintain EDI maps, translation software, and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP) to ensure reliable data exchange.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements and define EDI integration specifications.
• Coordinate EDI testing and certification processes with trading partners to ensure successful onboarding and compliance with standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
• Monitor EDI transactions, troubleshoot errors, and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to business operations.
• Develop and maintain EDI documentation, including trading partner agreements, implementation guides, and process workflows.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes, standards, and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in EDI technology, standards, and regulations.

Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as a subject matter expert on EDI integration and data exchange.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience working as an EDI Specialist or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP).
• Hands-on experience with EDI mapping and translation tools.
• Strong understanding of business processes related to supply chain, logistics, and electronic commerce.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• SPS Commerce & Deacom experience preferred.
