This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Editorial Manager - REMOTE. This critical leadership role involves overseeing the editorial function to ensure that all client deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and compliance with healthcare regulations. You will spend a significant portion of your time actively editing while also mentoring a growing team of editors. In this hands-on position, you will drive quality assurance and editorial excellence in diverse projects. Your contributions will not only influence immediate deliverables but also shape the strategic direction of the editorial process within the organization.
Accountabilities
- Manage and mentor a team of editors, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee editorial workflow across multiple accounts, ensuring projects are completed on time and to standard.
- Review all promotional and scientific content for accuracy, grammar, style, and compliance with client brand guidelines.
- Ensure materials comply with medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) standards for pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing.
- Act as a key liaison between editorial, medical strategy, creative, and account teams to streamline review processes.
- Contribute to agency-wide initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance in content delivery.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of editorial experience in pharmaceutical advertising, medical communications, or related healthcare marketing.
- 2–3+ years of leadership or team management experience.
- Deep knowledge of MLR review processes and capability to support compliance.
- Exceptional editorial skills with a strong eye for grammar, clarity, and fact-checking.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions.
