Job Title: Education Coordinator

Monthly Pay: $3,721 - $5,558 USD per month

Summary:

This role sits within an education team guided by an education team lead and works closely with instructors, learners, and program administrators. The Education Coordinator organizes online learning sessions, maintains course participation information, and helps everyone understand the next steps in their learning activities. Clear arrangements and timely updates help instructors prepare and learners participate without avoidable confusion. This fully remote position offers work from home in South Carolina, United States, with all duties completed through online systems and desk-based communication. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review incoming education requests through a shared email queue, identifying the course, learner question, requested session, and appropriate next action.
• Check course availability, participation requirements, instructor availability, and session details before confirming arrangements or routing questions for clarification.
• Maintain course rosters and participation updates in a learning management system such as Cornerstone, checking entries against instructor updates and approved course information.
• Organize online session calendars using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar, checking invitations, meeting links, and instructor confirmations.
• Send learners clear session instructions, preparation reminders, and updates using approved information, and direct questions about course subject matter to instructors.
• Coordinate readiness checks with instructors, confirming that approved learning resources and session links are available before scheduled activities begin.
• Monitor attendance and course completion information, note discrepancies, and follow up with instructors or learners when required details are missing.
• Escalate unresolved access issues to technical support and scheduling conflicts or participation concerns to the education team lead, documenting ownership and next steps.
• Prepare concise participation summaries for the education team and close completed requests after confirming that outstanding questions have an assigned response.
• Maintain quality through accurate course information, timely turnaround, complete notes, and dependable follow-up, using feedback from the education team lead to improve coordination.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• About 1-2 years of experience in education support, online learning administration, or related coordination work preferred.
• Familiarity with course rosters, attendance tracking, completion statuses, and the administrative steps supporting online education programs.
• Comfort using learning systems and calendar tools to update course information, organize sessions, and locate participation details accurately.
• Clear written and verbal communication for answering practical learner questions and coordinating respectfully with instructors and program administrators.
• Ability to organize overlapping requests, verify details, and recognize when questions need instructor input or team lead guidance.
• A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace suitable for handling learner information and participating in online meetings.
• Availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
