Education Coordinator & Teaching Artist Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an organized, collaborative, and passionate Part-Time Education Coordinator to support our growing educational programming. This role will assist with conservatory operations, teaching, curriculum support, and training initiatives while helping ensure a positive and enriching experience for students, families, and teaching artists. This role combines educational administration with direct teaching responsibilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, creative, and experienced in working with youth in performing arts education. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, organized, and high-quality educational experience for students and families across all San Pedro Playhouse education programs.
This position is based in San Antonio and requires consistent in-person attendance during scheduled hours.

SCHEDULE
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that may include:
This position is expected to work up to twenty-nine (29) hours per week. Weekly schedules may vary based on programmatic needs, including camps, conservatory sessions, and partner school programming. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.
COMPENSATION
Pay is commensurate with experience and ranges from $17–$20 per hour.
