Job Description - Education Manager, Latin America
Overview: The Education Manager, Latin America is responsible for the development and training of the distributor educators and artists within their designated territory. They will support product sales by focusing on planning and execution of appropriate education based on geographical area, an assigned distributor partner, and budget allotted. Tasks & Responsibilities Understand and embrace the brand Responsible for booking the NYC education classes Manages, plans, and participates in and executes educational strategies Support and generate sales through education Follow-up and through on all education programs and being responsible for all aspects Responsible for the recruiting, training, and development of distributor educators as well as scheduling and maintaining robust calendars Manage, direct, and schedule a team of freelance educators/artists Responsible for building development plans for artists by offering specific training programs that maintain and improve public speaking and facilitation skills, cutting, styling, and coloring skills Responsible for facilitating local education trainings for distributor educators, stylists, and salons Train distributor education coordinators Manage educational budgets within their territory Cross functionally work with Marketing and Sales team to ensure proper launches and promotions Promote and execute Education Programs, including but not limited to field education, master classes, and NYC Education and partner academies/salons Responsible for scheduling and managing all Education programs within their territory. i.e. local education events, trade shows, and special events Work with sales lead to create incentives to drive education Collaborate with sales lead to support the development and growth of existing key accounts as well as generating new salon accounts Work with DSCs and salons to achieve goals and objectives agreed upon with the Regional Brand Managers and Sales Directors Work with Regional and National Brand Managers in the planning of educational programs to meet salon need and objectives; support new product launches within their territory Participate in distributor shows and programs as directed Ability to facilitate and master all classes. Follow company policies in regards to OSHA Any others the Employer may consider essential in ensuring the normal operations of the Employer’s business processes and that falls into the category of expertise of the Employee Special projects Skills & Abilities High School or GED Bachelor’s Degree preferred Cosmetology License required 2 years education planning experience, an asset Ability to travel and work weekends required Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) English, French, and Spanish language proficiency required.
