Education Specialist

The Education Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative functions, and hosting member education classes. This role supports members with their education needs and assists in the administration of supporting the Commercial, Global and Affiliate programs

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to the following):

Education Program

• Host engaging live and virtual classes, ensuring a seamless experience by coordinating with instructors, supporting attendees, managing setup or Zoom logistics, and handling post-class surveys, and payments.


• Assist in vetting new instructors and collaborate with the Education Director on scheduling the classes.


• Coordinate and process instructors Statement of Work.


• Support and promote the Broker Concierge Program, including white-label classes, dashboard management and speaker bookings.


• Plan and implement 3-4 offsite education events per year


• Perform accuracy checks on all self-paced course content.


• Set up classes in the Association Management System (AMS)


• Audit class registrations to ensure proper synchronization between AMS and Learning Management System (LMS).


• Ensure website content (including the education catalog) is current and accurate.

Learning Management System (LMS)

• Manage day-of registrations and respond to member inquiries.


• Coordinate with instructors on Zoom links, uploading materials, and adding recordings to LMS.


• Hold one-on-ones with members to help with the system

Commercial Education

• Organize and promote commercial networking events.


• Promote Commercial education sessions.

Work Group Support

• Support with the execution of the Affiliate and Global work groups’ action plans, including the event and education components.


• Apply annually for Global Recertification.


• Provide Admin support to Work Groups as needed.

Additional Requirements

• This position requires 4 days in the office.


• Driving Requirement: Must be able to drive periodically to off-site events. A valid California Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and a safe driving record are required.
