Nature of Work:

Performs professional, technical, and analytical work in Programming and Systems Analysis to ensure that systems critical to the Economic Development operation are meeting end user expectations and can flex to support changing business needs. This includes troubleshooting of complex applications and software, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues independently, and the development of custom programs or interfaces in response to end user feedback. The Applications Administrator for Economic Development works across functional groups including Information Technology, 3rd party vendors, and internal City clients to develop short and long-term system plans, taking a lead role in their deployment. Work is reviewed and guided by the EDIS Administrator.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Business Administration

required , or related field with four (4) or more years experience in systems analysis and programming, including two (2) years project management experience

required ; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
