Job Description - eFX Quantitative Analyst, Vice President

State Street's electronic foreign exchange offering is a core component of our product range, making markets directly with counterparts, on exchanges and e-trading venues around the globe. Since inception we have sustained a considerable growth trajectory, becoming a significant player in this space by expanding our market making, algorithmic and benchmark execution capabilities.

We are looking to make an experienced hire at the VP level in Boston to help sustain our aggressive growth trajectory. We seek candidates with have 3 - 5 years of experience in eFX or systematic high frequency trading. They will apply expertise in statistical and machine learning techniques to bespoke high frequency, asynchronous datasets to produce automated trading strategies for the eFX business. They will be joining a successful, innovative, and supportive team, and their contributions will directly influence our strategic direction.   • Experience developing software for analysing / manipulating large datasets to provide business insights
  • Someone who can provide domain expertise on relevant areas of the business

Must Have:
  • 3 - 5 years eFX trading experience
  • Experience of automated pricing and risk management for principal electronic trading books
  • Postgraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related discipline.
  • Experience with a data analysis & modelling language (e.g. Python, Matlab, etc.)
  • Experience developing with a production system language (e.g. Java, C++, etc.)
  • Experience with using Git for version control
  • Experience of backtesting and implementing signals based on high frequency asynchronous tick data

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team and become a key contributor in a business area fully supported by senior management.

Salary Range:
$200,000 - $200,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
