EH&S Manager

Your responsibilities will include: ● Serve as the site lead for emergency planning and response. Ensure that adequate evacuation and response procedures are in place, including training for all applicable employee roles. ● Develop and maintain an EH&S staffing plan that supports implementation and improvement of the site's EH&S Management Systems. ● Hire, coach, and develop direct reports through training, assignments, performance reviews, and progressive discipline as appropriate. ● Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline ● 8 to 12 years of total professional experience, including ● 3 to 5+ years of people management experience, ideally in a functional leadership role within EH&S ● Experience developing and/or sustaining ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Management Systems ● Working knowledge of EH&S regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, EPCRA, RCRA) ● Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional EH&S performance ● Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization ● Thorough understanding of best-in-class EH&S management practices ● Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation ● Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries ● Experience working within a Quality Management System-controlled manufacturing environment ● Familiarity with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Requisition ID: 621799 Minimum Salary: $ 102100 Maximum Salary: $ 194000 Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
