EHS Specialist

Reporting to the Manager, you will work onsite at our Holly Springs, NC facility.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all processes of the plant meet environmental control requirements and specifications of national and international agencies
• Take part in establishing and implementing Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyzes the environment by performing research and analysis activities to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures
• Provide safety orientation and training on safety methods and equipment
• Undertake difficult projects, assessments and solutions
• May instruct or coach other professionals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years' relevant experience including experience at a manufacturing site
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Large pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing experience
