Who we’re looking for: A highly motivated Early Intervention (EI) Special Instructor to work directly with toddlers and their families in our birth to 3-year old early intervention programs! The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education or a related field. Candidates with additional training in nutrition, hearing, vision or evidence-based child-centered behavioral interventions will be considered for these specialty areas within this special instructor role.
What you’ll do with PPT: Our special instructors use a coaching model with families to help children of all ability levels maximize their early learning and early communication skills. The caseload for this position is within our birth-3 year old early intervention, provide multi-disciplinary EI evaluation services in Berks County as well as some direct treatment in Lebanon County. You can customize your caseload, hours and geographic catchment area to meet your needs!
Skills PPT therapists possess:
- Experience working with children, their families & IFSP/educational teams
- Strong ability to use the evidence to provide effective services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to utilize technology to streamline daily work, such as electronic documentation and billing with PPT, which makes everything easier!
- Knack for developing well-written goals and creative intervention plans and activities
