What is the Prison-to-Gown Pathway?
Prison-to-Gown Pathway (PGP), an initiative of the Education Justice Project at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, working to support learners impacted by incarceration as they navigate higher education. PGP is a student centered resource supported by members who are passionate about educational equity. We work together to provide access and resources to system-impacted learners including assistance with admissions, navigating financial aid, providing campus and community resources and researching the pathways field. Members contribute to the initiative in various ways depending on their interests and skills.
