ELA Teacher

We are in need of  teachers for The Better Teacher Fellowship Program, a 6-Week Teacher Training Program with "guaranteed placement" in a DC or MD K-12 charter school with a starting salary between 59 and 70 K.
- 12 high-quality candidates who have a strong desire to become world-class educators in the areas of K-12 ELA and math.

Requirements
-BA Required
-Masters Degree Preferred
-Cohort 1 will start training on Monday, May 19.
-Candidates will interview with schools for placement between 6/16 and 6/27.

*About the Fellowship:
-Unpaid for 6 Weeks; 4 of those weeks will be Training. The other 2 weeks will be spent interviewing with school leaders for placement.
-The training program will take place Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. to mirror charter school hours.
-Professional Dress Daily
-All prospective teachers should have access to transportation. The training will occur at our office in NE DC.
