What you will be doing:

• E\-filings in both state and federal courts.
  


• Schedules court appearances and depositions.
  


• Drafts letters, email correspondence, notices, subpoenas, and basic pleadings.
  


• Word processing, including proofing briefs, creating tables of authorities and tables of contents.
  


• Heavy calendaring including maintaining attorneys' calendars of appointments and deadlines as well as reminders.
  


• Communication with opposing counsel, court clerks, experts, and vendors.
  


• Overseeing service of pleadings.
  


• Communications with clients to obtain or provide information.
  


• Anticipating next steps relative to the case and documents that need to be prepared.
  

Experience you will need:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  


• Must have at least 3\-5 years of experience in litigation.
  


• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  


• General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  


• Professional demeanor and appearance.
  


• Strong personal focus on meeting or exceeding individual, department, and Firm goals.
  


• Ability to work effectively within a team\-oriented work environment.
  


• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
