Responsible for the day-to-day operations with business direction, coordination and evaluation for the facilities and overall elder needs
Ensure the facilities operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Coordinate and provide leadership to clinical, dietary, activities, and support service teams, to ensure that they work together effectively to ensure that residents and community elders receive the best possible care.
Ensure an effective continuum of care system for elders at home as well as in the facilities.
Conducts department reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate operational effectiveness. Develops action plans to achieve departmental and division strategic and long-term goals.
Coordinate with care teams to ensure residents’ individual care plans are appropriate and being followed.
Develops and maintains a case management system including policies and procedures for planning, coordinating, tracking, and the evaluation of community elders needs, and services being provided.
Create and maintain a budget, minimizing expenses and maximizing revenue.
Oversee regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of facility; morale of the staff; and ensure resident needs are being addressed.
Act as the ‘face’ of the organization to the governing board, the public, and residents’ families; and as a liaison between staff, residents, and families
What you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in health care/business administration or related field strongly preferred.
Three (3) plus years’ experience in supervising a retirement community or Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing (SNF), or Rehabilitation Facility
Current Nursing Home Administrator license in Wisconsin or have ability to obtain licensure.
Ability to work successfully with diverse staff and resident population.
Ability to work irregular hours as needed.
Proven leadership and communication skills
Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens.
FCP complies with all CDC vaccine and testing recommendations for healthcare professionals. Proof of immunizations is required and immunizations/testing provided upon hire.
