Electric Motor Winder

Description

Illinois Electric Works is an electric motor shop that provides high quality service, distribution, sales, maintenance, and repair of high performance industrial equipment including motors, pumps, cranes, hoists, and fans. 

As an Electric Motor Winder, we're looking for someone that can perform all functions to wind electric motors in sizes from 1hp to 10,000hp, as well as collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience winding electric motors (2+ years preferred
• Familiarity with basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments 
• Knowledge of electrical principle and theory 
• Ability to use hand tools and other tooling effectively for rewinding motors.

Pay: 

Target pay range for this role is $20/hr. - $40/hr. Pay offered will be determined based on knowledge, skills, ability and experience.
