What You'll Achieve:
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician, you play a vital role in keeping our production lines running strong and our food products safe. Your expertise in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment ensures we meet our goals for uptime, quality, and reliability. In this fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you’ll be the problem-solver who keeps critical systems operating at their best — directly supporting not only our team's success but also the trust our customers place in every product we make. Your work makes a real impact, helping deliver high-quality food to families across the country.
What You'll Do:
· Technical & Troubleshooting:
Use tools like multimeters, Scopemeters, and meggers to identify and correct issues; install and repair motors, gearboxes, and drives; read wiring diagrams and schematics; work with PLCs and control systems; maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment; calibrate instruments for process monitoring.
· Preventative & Predictive Maintenance:
Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical panels and production equipment, replace worn parts such as belts, seals, and bearings, and lubricate and adjust machinery to keep systems running efficiently.
· Cross-Department Collaboration:
Partner with Production, Engineering, IT, and quality teams to troubleshoot and minimize downtime; support equipment installs and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Safety & Compliance:
Follow food and human safety standards, including lockout/tagout and GMP procedures; maintain a clean and hazard-free work area; participate in required safety training.
· Tools & Technology:
Operate a range of standard and specialty tools and software used in a connected plant using distributed PLCs and data acquisition systems; record repairs and parts usage in the maintenance software system.
· Professionalism & Development:
Bring a positive, team-first attitude to every task; participate in training to grow both technical and soft skills, and exhibit the Pillars of Achievement in all interactions and work.
