Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary:

The Electrical Apprentice / Helper will assist installers on various electrical projects assigned by project foreman or leader.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Assist with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform duties assigned by the project foreman or leader in a timely manner.

  
  


• 
  

  Install and bend EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all safety procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.

  
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 
  

  Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  
  


• 
  

  Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job site throughout the greater Orlando area.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test.

  
  

Education and Experience:

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent required.

  
  


• 
  

  Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.

  
  

Physical Requirements:

• 
  

  Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
