Electrical Assembler | First Shift | Walton, KY

We are seeking an Electrical Assembler with a trade school degree in electrical work to assemble and integrate electrical and mechanical components into tooling systems using schematics and assembly drawings. Responsibilities include wiring, troubleshooting circuits, installing electrical components, and working with pneumatic systems. Candidates should be skilled in reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and comfortable in an industrial setting. Cross-training in machining may be required, along with occasional travel, overtime, and weekend work. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL ASSEMBLY POSITION, must have experience.

Requirements:

• MUST have an electrical degree or certificate from a university or technical school
• Must be able to read shop blueprints and read metric measuring devices
• flexible to cross-train and work in other areas of the shop, primarily machining (manual mills, drill press, etc.), piping, and wiring.
• must act as a team player and work well with others in their department to accomplish production targets.
• detail-oriented and self-motivated, making suggestions on how to improve efficiency
• Applicant must be willing to travel on some occasions
• Applicant must pass background check and drug test

Qualifications:

• Applicant who is familiar with using various types of hand tools such as wrenches, drivers, nippers, etc.
• Applicant preferred to have some experience of piping and electrical wiring
  

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8am-4:45pm

Pay:

$20-25/hr paid weekly
