Electrical Automation Controls Engineer

• Develops preliminary designs and help establish functional requirements for new devices and systems.
• Programming of PLC, drives, safety controller
• Maintaining and updating Electrical drawings in AutoCAD
• Develop wire schedules for interconnection in the field
• Support FAT and SAT at customer locations
• Creates estimates and budgets, ensure part and system procurement, oversee the fabrication of electrical equipment, manage vendors and contractors, deliver complete and up-to-date technical documentation.
• Coordinates installation and startup of projects ranging from minor adjustments to existing machinery to significant expansion projects.
• Provide technical support for issue solving and analysis as well as technical experience for the upkeep, modification, and installation of machinery & equipment used in the production process.
• Involved in all project management activities, such as financial justification, design, vendors/procurement, installation, start-up, qualification, machine acceptance, training for operations & maintenance.
• Travel as required. 
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of industrial electrical design experience in manufacturing
• Experience programming Allen-Bradley Rockwell PLCs
• Experience doing 2D electrical schematics in AutoCAD.
• The ability to work effectively in a cross functional group setting, including essential technical guidance to support Senior Management
• The ability to work independently, and to lead, coach and mentor others
