Job Description - Electrical Construction Manager

LotusWorks is seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Construction Manager to lead critical electrical construction and commissioning efforts at a high-tech semiconductor facility in Santa Clara, California. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise in medium/low voltage systems, instrument and controls, and facility integration within cleanroom environments.


Responsibilities:





  • Manage all phases of electrical work for construction and commissioning projects, from pre-construction through handover




  • Coordinate electrical design reviews, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and redlines with project stakeholders




  • Develop and maintain project schedules, procurement plans, cost tracking, and risk mitigation strategies




  • Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors, internal teams, and clients to ensure alignment on schedule, scope, and safety




  • Oversee field installation progress, conduct QA/QC inspections, and ensure work meets project specifications, NEC, and SEMI standards




  • Support L3/L4 commissioning activities, punch list resolution, and integration of systems with operations teams




  • Interface with vendors and suppliers for equipment delivery, installation support, and technical troubleshooting




  • Manage documentation including as-builts, daily logs, and final turnover packages




  • Provide oversight on instrumentation and control systems, including monitoring, control valves, and Ethernet-based electrical monitoring infrastructure





Skills Required:





  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems: medium/low voltage distribution, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, power monitoring, and I&C systems




  • Proven experience interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications




  • Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, local building codes, and SEMI cleanroom protocols




  • Skilled in project scheduling, cost control, subcontractor management, and QA/QC oversight




  • Proficiency in construction software such as BIM 360, Bluebeam, MS Project, and AutoCAD




  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams




  • Committed to upholding electrical safety and quality standards on all project scopes





Education / Licenses / Certifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electrical construction; minimum 3 years within semiconductor or cleanroom environments

Hourly Rate:
$50$65 USD

Eligibility for per diem is determined by company policy and is applicable only under specific circumstances, based on job location and travel requirements.

Monthly Per Diem (If applicable):
$1,400$1,400 USD
