We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our leading automation solutions and engineering firm. The ideal candidate would be proficient in designing with AutoCAD, engineering principles and electrical/instrumentation drawings/P&ID's. What You Will Be Doing
- Work and collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers to design and deliver solutions
- Take P&ID and develop I/O list, size wire and conduit
- Development of P&IDs Diagrams, electrical & instrumentation drawings, spec and develop elementaries, panel layouts, plan cable schedule
What You Need for this Position
- BS in Electrical Engineering/Engineering, Licensed Professional Engineer required*
- 5+ years experience with AutoCAD and/or EPlan, other CAD Packages
- Strong understanding of P&ID Diagrams, creating UL panel designs, developing elementaries/schematics and/or ladder diagrams
- Knowledge of engineering principles, engineering practices and product development cycle
- Experience collaborating with project managers, engineers and clients
Eligibility:

- Certification or degree in Electrical/Electronic Fundamentals preferred
- CAD certification preferred
