Position Summary

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for high-quality design and possess experience in lighting and power distribution systems within the built environment. This role requires strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to design excellence and code compliance.

Essential Functions

• Design building lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems across various project types

• Perform lighting and power calculations

• Ensure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal electrical codes and standards

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems

• Support procurement through equipment/material specification and vendor evaluation

• Ensure deliverables align with schedule, budget, and project scope

• Foster a positive and professional team-oriented work environment

Required Qualifications

• Vocational Certificate, Associates Degree, or equivalent in Engineering Design, Drafting, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of electrical design experience in architectural or construction environments

• Proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office

• Strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, IECC, and other applicable codes

• Demonstrated ability to perform basic engineering calculations and design analyses

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• PE license or on track toward licensure

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical analysis software (e.g., SKM PowerTools)

• Experience in client-facing or multidisciplinary collaboration roles

Work Environment

This hybrid role requires presence in the office at least three days per week. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Tulsa, OK. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
