Job Description: 

MMR Power 5 Engineering is seeking Electrical Designer - Power Systems candidates to support the layout and physical design of power systems for either utility substation projects or industrial power distribution projects. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following: 

• Developing one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, grounding layouts, conduit and cable tray routing, and equipment arrangements in accordance with NEC, NESC, and applicable design standards.
• Incorporating redlines, producing detailed CAD drawings, reviewing specifications, and supporting construction, retrofit, and field clarification activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of electrical design experience in either utility or industrial power systems
• Strong working knowledge of NEC, NESC, and relevant utility or industrial standards
• Experience producing one-lines, wiring diagrams, grounding layouts, and physical equipment arrangements
• Experience with conduit routing, cable tray systems, and physical design packages
• Familiarity with grounding and bonding practices for industrial facilities or substations
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Experience supporting construction, retrofits, installations, or field clarifications
• Experience with substation physical design strongly preferred
