Job Description - Electrical Engineer

CALCULEX is a leader in developing high tech solutions for the acquisition, recording, and processing of data often supporting developmental and operational test of military and commercial airborne systems. CALCULEX is comprised of a small team of highly trained, skilled and motivated technical professionals.

Education
BSEE Required, MSEE desired.

Experience
Minimum 5 years in digital design with FPGAs.

Required Skills

5 years’ experience designing processor cards based on microprocessors and SoCs
5 years’ experience designing IO and Data Acquisition systems to read digital and analog data.
Experience with managing the routing, fabricating, and assembling of CCAs
Complex digital design problem solving and troubleshooting.
Highly skilled at schematics generation.
Excellent understanding of signal integrity for high-speed circuits.
Highly skilled at power estimation and management.

Desired Skills

Experience in full development cycles from conception through deployment of electronic systems.
Knowledge of video, audio, and analog circuits highly desired.
Knowledge of storage systems is highly desired.
Knowledge of encryption and compression highly desired.
Good documentation skills.
Good knowledge of simulation tools.

CALCULEX is an aerospace systems, embedded firmware and PC software developer, and electronics manufacturer.
