Salary :
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in designing lighting and power distribution systems. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, project management skills, and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that designs meet client requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Salary: $85-110k/yr
Responsibilities:
- Design interior and exterior lighting systems, including layout, fixture selection, controls, and energy code compliance.
- Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, including panelboards, switchgear, feeders, branch circuits, and grounding systems.
- Coordinate designs with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integration of systems.
- Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and conducting site inspections.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IES, local energy codes).
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years related work experience
- Power distribution systems experience
$85,000 - $110,000 a year
