Job Description - Electrical Engineer

Job Summary


We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in electrical engineering, automation, and industrial maintenance, with the ability to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities



  • Install, commission, and maintain industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and automation systems.

  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

  • Prepare electrical layouts, technical reports, maintenance records, and documentation.

  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and other internal teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Support machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to operators and maintenance personnel when required.

  • Visit project or customer sites for installation, inspection, commissioning, and technical support as necessary.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • 2–4 years of experience in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, or manufacturing environments will be preferred.


Required Skills



  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, control panels, and automation systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.

  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Willingness to travel to project or customer sites when required.
